Dearest Patrons, Now, just for the sake of an entirelt disrelated lucky ricochet, do any of you kind souls that for some reason visit this +<.......>+* journal have the capability of pointing me toward a suitably located and priced** open reel tape player that takes 10.5 inch NAB spools, runs @ 7.5 ips at least (+ 15 or 3 + whatever ips). I've something around 300 reels of unused material from my mispent decades to digitise. Any machine would not need to be high end or pristine, just good enough condition to last 450 odd hours of running before setting fire to the Martha Farquar Re-recording & Erasing Facilty. This pitiful plea is advertised elsewhere & may be withdrawn at any time. Maybe I should author a webshite entitled pleaBay.com where people could list an unlimited range of pleas, the publishing & promotion of which I could milk a living for little or no effort, beyond dealing with people, which is not top of the S in my SWOT assessemennttt. * Insert adjective to your preferred adjectival amplitude here pls. ** eBay is full of small reel machines, which makes the task impractical, or they go for £silly.00 |
